With restrictions still in place as we head into December, it’s not possible to experience Lincolnshire in the way we usually can in winter. So, we have put together an event that will bring the best of Lincolnshire into your living room! The Big Lincolnshire Night In will feature a quiz with a local and festive twist, as well as a special cocktail-making demonstration courtesy of Lincolnshire-based tequila brand Pancho Datos.

While it’s a completely free event, we want to grasp the opportunity to help local businesses that have been hit by this year’s events. So, to help make it a truly authentic night, we’ve put together some ideas on how to host a Lincolnshire Night in at home, with recommendations on amazing local produce you can order in for the night.
How to sign up (for free) and join the event
It’s easy to book your place for The Big Lincolnshire Night In. Simply register for the event on Eventbrite and you will be sent all of the joining instructions, including the Zoom link. It would also be great if you can respond to the Facebook event to let us know you’ll be joining.
Win prizes donated by local businesses
During the course of The Big Lincolnshire Night In, we’ll be giving away wonderful prizes that have been donated by some of our favourite local businesses. By taking part and getting creative you will be in with a shout to win Lincolnshire cheeses, ales, tea and coffee. Prizes will be awarded for the quiz winner, best team name, and best social media posts (details will be explained on the night). Here are the prizes that are up for grabs…
Taste of Lincolnshire gift box
We are huge fans of The Cheese Society, and so we’re thrilled to be giving away one of their wonderful Taste of Lincolnshire gift boxes as a prize. It includes local specialties including our favourites, Lincolnshire Poacher and Cote Hill Blue!
Christmas tea & coffee hamper
Stokes Tea & Coffee has been an institution here in Lincoln for over a century, and supplies outlets all over the county. They are generously donating a special Christmas hamper as an event prize.
Case of winter beers
We love a good ale, especially from Fiskerton-based Ferry Ales Brewery! Thanks to their generosity, one lucky winner at The Big Lincolnshire Night In will enjoy a case of special winter beers.
Cocktail-making demonstration
Pancho Datos is a premium tequila brand inspired by the Mexican Revolution, and is based right here in Lincolnshire! Stuart Wischhusen will be making a guest appearance at The Big Lincolnshire Night In to demonstrate how to make a margarita the Pancho Datos way.
