What is Vrbo?
Before we get into it, you might be wondering exactly what Vrbo is if you haven’t used it before. The name “Vrbo” stands for “Vacation Rentals by Owner”, and it is a similar service to Airbnb, offering short-term property rentals for holidays. It’s actually been around a lot longer than Airbnb, having been founded in 1995.
There are a few differences between Vrbo and Airbnb. A significant one is that Vrbo only lists whole property rentals (no rooms within occupied properties, shared rooms or suchlike). This means there are fewer listings on Vrbo, and it’s typically quicker to find whole apartments or cottages for a holiday or weekend break.
Another reason we prefer to use Vrbo ourselves is that it has a simpler fee structure and takes a slightly smaller cut than Airbnb. This means it usually turns out to be cheaper for the same properties.
So, what are the best Vrbo holiday lets in Lincoln? There are well over 100 properties listed in and around the city on the platform. To save you the time and hassle, we’ve delved through all of them and picked out our favourites. Let’s get into it.
